Bringing together some of the leading women in the arts in the UK, this panel discussion will explore why so many women study the arts but don’t end up working in the industry, particularly when it comes to artistic and leadership roles. Our panel of experts will offer advice and inspiration on overcoming this current reality. This talk is chaired by Jennifer Tuckett, course leader of MA Dramatic Writing at Drama Centre London at Central Saint Martins and founder of University Women in the Arts, which offers mentoring to women studying the arts at university level from some of the women leading the way in the arts in the UK. Jennifer has also written on this subject for The Guardian, Huffington Post, Exeunt Magazine and other publications.
