People often say there is strength in numbers. Communities of Potential draws on the real-life experiences of groups, collectives and practitioners, working in an interdisciplinary or collective manner, and asks what potential these spaces can offer.
A panel of guests will share how different spaces can be used online and offline, in print and on radio, and how they can be used as situational, discursive or performative to assemble, cultivate and make work public.
The discussions will touch on several areas. These include creating your own opportunities, making friends over networking, pooling resources and skills, voluntary associations, making opportunities and holding space, as well as providing practical steps for developing a common context for your creative work and learning beyond graduation.
