Curating and entrepreneurial practice: panel discussion and networking

Thinking of becoming a curator? Drawing on expertise from the three UAL postgraduate curating courses at LCF, CSM and CCW, this panel discussion will address the employment experiences of a number of alumni from these courses and offer inspiration and advice on engaging with this popular career and activity. Curating is an increasingly used term with a history and variety of approaches, as well as a career choice that many individuals now embark on full-time, as a one-off opportunity, or as one facet of a portfolio career. Come and have it demystified, followed by the opportunity to network with peers and experts.

Speakers include:

- Sandra Dubois and Helen Spencer, Curators, Dubois & Spencer

- Fiona Mckay and Xenia Capacete Caballero, Curators, White Line Projects

- Cherie Silver, Senior Gallery Assistant, CHELSEA space, UAL Chelsea College of Arts

- Sophie Pradere, Freelance Curator
